Pa. sees a new record high in COVID cases Saturday

While the nation waited to hear the results on the presidential election Saturday, Pennsylvania’s Department of Health confirmed 4,035 new positive cases and 40 new deaths, bring the statewide total of positive COVID-19 cases to 227,985.

Saturday’s numbers are a record high for the state, which has seen 9,015 COVID-related deaths since the start of the pandemic.
