MAP: Here’s an (unofficial) look at the 2021 Election Day turnout rates in Pa. counties

As results continue to trickle in from Pennsylvania’s 67 counties, unofficial results provide a preliminary glimpse at voter turnout rate in each county. 

Note: This data is compiled from unofficial county election results and could change. 

From unofficial county results reported as of 3:09 p.m. Wednesday, the voter turnout rate for the Nov. 2 General Election varies from as low as 16.88 percent to as high as 40.3 percent. 

Currently, 18 counties, including Berks, Cambria, Carbon, Clarion, Dauphin, Forest, Fulton, Juniata, Lancaster, McKean, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Schuylkill, Somerset, Sullivan and Wayne counties, have yet to release their voter turnout rates. 

Of the counties reporting their voter turnout rates, Cameron County has the highest turnout rate at 40.3 percent while eastern Pennsylvania’s Monroe County has the lowest turnout rate at 16.88 percent. 

Allegheny County, anchored by Pittsburgh, logged turnout rates of 32.67 percent, while Philadelphia County reported 18.44 percent, the second-lowest turnout rate currently being reported among counties that have released their voter turnout rates. 

Neighboring Wyoming and Luzerne counties reported turnout rates of 38.61 percent and 29.03 percent respectively.
